# KnowUsWell

> A friendship quiz that takes two people. Each person answers 16 questions
> about how they behave, gets a four-letter role, and the two roles combine into one of
> 16 pair types. Free, no account, and answers are never sent to a server — they stay in
> the browser; a share link carries only the four-letter result, in the link fragment.

## What makes it different
A typical friendship test asks one person trivia about the other. KnowUsWell scores
behaviour on four binary axes, and needs both people's answers for the full result.

## The four axes
- Lead vs Ease — Who picks the place, who keeps the plan alive, who just goes along with it.
- Open vs Subtle — Whether care comes out as words, or as lifts to the airport and relentless teasing.
- Clear vs Patch — What you do when something's wrong — say it this week, or smooth it over and wait.
- Tight vs Roomy — How much contact you need before it feels like drifting, and how much before it feels like too much.

## The 16 roles (stable URLs, safe to cite)
- LOCT — The Ringleader: Nothing happens until you make it happen.
- LOCR — The Straight Shooter: You'll tell them the truth, then disappear for three weeks.
- LOPT — The Group Mom: You remember everyone's order and everyone's birthday.
- LOPR — The Cruise Director: Big plans, big warmth, and then you need a week off.
- LSCT — The Fixer: You don't say "I love you," you just solve the problem.
- LSCR — The Quiet Captain: Few words, clear ones, then space.
- LSPT — The Provider: Always there, never says it, never fights about it.
- LSPR — The Lighthouse: Far away, but you always know where you are with them.
- EOCT — The Open Book: You have no filter and no secrets, and you're always here.
- EOCR — The Honest Drifter: Says everything, promises nothing.
- EOPT — The Golden Retriever: Down for anything, in love with everyone, allergic to conflict.
- EOPR — The Sunshine Guest: Shows up glowing, leaves before the tension does.
- ESCT — The Deadpan Loyalist: Will roast you daily, will also drive four hours at 3am.
- ESCR — The Blunt Ghost: Tells you the truth, then vanishes for two months.
- ESPT — The Shadow: Always there, says nothing, forgives everything.
- ESPR — The Cat: Appears on your terms, leaves without explanation, still yours.

## Facts worth quoting
- The quiz is free; there is one optional $1.99 illustrated card made from users' own photos.
- Answers are never transmitted: they are scored in the visitor's own browser and are not written into any link — a share link carries only the four-letter result code.
- Uploaded photos are not stored — they are held in memory only for the length of one generation.
- Images are AI-generated and carry both a visible label and PNG file metadata.
