Using this site means you accept these terms. They are short on purpose.
What this is
KnowUsWell is an entertainment quiz. It produces a light-hearted label for a relationship between two people. It is not a psychological assessment, not a diagnostic instrument, and not advice. Nothing here should be used to make decisions about your health, your safety, or anyone else's.
What you may upload
You may upload a photograph of yourself, and only of yourself. You must be 18 or older. Uploading a photograph of another person — including a friend, a partner, a public figure, or a minor — is not permitted, whether or not you believe you have their permission. Each person in a pair card uploads their own photograph from their own device.
What the generated image is
Cards are produced by an AI image model and are labelled as AI-generated. They are stylised illustrations, not photographs, and are not intended to depict any real event. You may use your own card however you like, including posting it. You may not present it as a genuine photograph.
What you get for $1.99
One purchase covers six pictures, all for you: your first one, then five more. Making the same card in another style uses one of them. The two-person version your invited friend creates is provided free by us — one free picture per invite, redeemable while that invite link is live, and it does not come out of your six. That free picture is for the two-person version only. Generations that fail do not count against either total. Some styles paint the card's title into the picture; that lettering is drawn by the AI and can come out misspelled. The label strip printed beneath the artwork is set by us, so its wording is always right. If a picture comes out wrong, use another of your six — or write to us and we will refund it.
Refunds
If a card fails to generate, the attempt is returned to your balance automatically. If something goes wrong that the system does not catch, email support@knowuswell.com and we will refund the purchase. See the refund policy for detail.
What we do not permit
Do not use this service to impersonate anyone, to harass anyone, to produce sexual or explicit imagery, or to create misleading depictions of real people. We will decline generations that appear to breach this and may refuse service.
Availability
This is a small independent site. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or withdraw features. If a paid feature becomes unavailable while you still have generations left, email us and we will refund the unused portion.
The AI model we use
Illustrations are generated using Seedream, a third-party image model operated by Volcano Engine. KnowUsWell is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Volcano Engine or ByteDance, and we make no claim to their trademarks. We build the prompts, the styles, and everything around the model; we do not build the model.
