The Weather System

Calm, storm, distance, calm again.

Same instincts about plans and affection, opposite instincts about conflict and space. So it runs in cycles: close and easy, then a friction neither of you handles the same way, then distance, then back. If you've stopped panicking during the distance part, this one lasts.

Where you match and where you don't

2 of 4 axes line up. Matching isn't automatically better — aligned axes feel effortless, opposite axes are where each of you covers the other's blind spot.

Storm Opposite ends
ClearPatch What you do when something's wrong — say it this week, or smooth it over and wait.
Space Opposite ends
TightRoomy How much contact you need before it feels like drifting, and how much before it feels like too much.

Make it a picture

One photo of you makes the card. Your friend's photo puts them in the picture too.

Example input photo — a fictional person One photo in Friend joins free Example finished The Weather System card — both friends in the picture, with both four-letter codes and the pair type name printed underneath

One card out, your face kept — both your codes and your pair type are on it from the very first one. Pictured with both faces: that's it once your friend adds theirs.

Samples are illustrations of made-up characters. Yours is built from your own photos. Where a style paints a title into the picture, the AI letters it by hand and can misspell it. We also print the name on the label strip under the picture — that strip is set by us, so its spelling is always right.

Turn The Weather System into an illustrated card of you, made from your own photo. If your friend wants to be on it too, they add theirs — free.

  • Your card is finished when you get it. Adding your friend is optional, not the missing half.
  • Six pictures, all yours — use them on any card: this pair, a different friend, or just you. One purchase, six goes.
  • Your friend's picture is on us. Send them the invite link and they add their photo free — one free picture per invite, and it doesn't come out of your six.
  • Your photo is never stored. To draw you, the image model has to see you — so the photo goes to our server and on to the model over an encrypted connection, lives in memory for that one request, and is discarded. Nothing is written to a database, file store, or log.
  • Your finished cards are saved. Every card you generate is kept with your purchase for 30 days — download them any time from your account page.
  • The only copy we keep, we can't read. If you send an invite, one copy is encrypted in your browser and held for 24 hours so your friend can complete the pair. The key travels only inside the link you send — browsers never transmit it to us — so we hold a blob we have no key for.

Buying confirms you're 18 or older and will only upload photos you have the right to use — you'll re-confirm before anything is generated.
